Every 3000 miles you change your oil if regular. If synthetic oil, every 5000 miles.
Every time you change your oil, you should check all the fluid and inspect the vehicle from the bottom. If you live in the country or a place where there is lot of dust...etc, I would change the air filter every three oil changes.
Your car should have a manual with a maintenance charts. You should take a look at if you really want to treat you vehicle good.

oil and air filter what he said about every 3500 miles is good has for brakes depending on your style of braking and where you driving maybe 10,000 miles should be check a few times a yr best to have it done when rotating your tires 2000 or so miles tune up once a yr is good just e if it watch your mileage fuel filter every yr at least once the more offen you do the car care is a on going thing checking is alway better than waiting til it breaks just take it some where first have have them check everything that way you will know when or about when something mioght need to be doneI need to know about care maitenance. oil 3 to 5 thousand miles / air cleaner 15 to 25 thousand mi depending on where you drive and how dusty it is / brakes check 50,000 mi / alignment checked when you rotate tires every 10 to 15 thousand miles ... this is straight out of my 2002 ford f-150 maintenance manual / 50k is the big one thats when you check your shocks, struts, change your brake fluid ,check the tranny fluid and filters, ball joints, air and fuel filters .... the works
