How do I change my 2.5 gallon tank. It's seem to be very hard to pick up and am confused. Am i suppose to bring a bucket next to it and poor it in the bucket and keep on doing it to get rid of all of the water and bacterial. And what about the gravel? there were hard to put back in the tank once you take them out all wet. Please answer my question thank you.Fish Tank air pump filter change? READ! please answer?
what you need to do is get a small gravel vac (siphon) and clear the debris out of your tank. take out about 25% of the water and if you fill the tank up with regular tap water, add some type of water conditioner or aquarium salt because of the harsh chemicals in tap water. change your tank about every 1-2 weeks depending on the debris amount.Fish Tank air pump filter change? ok from my experience there are two methods

method one is by buying a gravel vacuum and aq bucket and vacuum out the water into the bucket then taking the gravel and outing it into the same buckt, o yea dont vacuum up the fish, place them in a container with some of the tanks water.

mthod two is buy having a little cup and a bucket. first take the bucket and if its small ebough put the entire bucket and submerge it into the water, then scoop it up and most of the water will be inside the bucket now just scoop out the gravel with your hands and put it into the same bucket, now with the cup just use it and scoop out the remaining of the water in the bottom of the tank with the cup. o yea and with this method dont forget to do the thing with the fish in the container listed above.
